New Achievements of Eurasia International Univerysty: new international exchange programs for students, lecturers and employees

Last year was full of achievements for Eurasians: as a member of ALRAKIS consortium of Erasmus Mundus (Action 2) program funded by EU, EIU students and faculty members were awarded an opportunity to participate at an international exchange program. As a result of the latter two Bachelor students will continue their studies for one year in Tuscia University in Italy, one Master degree student will spend his second year of studies at Warsaw University of Natural Sciences, one employee will receive trainings at Santiago de Compostela University in Spain, and one more lecturer will undergo through his doctoral studies at Tallinn University in Estonia.

Staying true to the principle of the University, that is internationalization of educational process and activities of the University, EIU co-workers put their every effort in creating new mobility opportunities for students, faculty members and employees. We are delighted to inform that EIU is a member of two more consortiums, which will be funded by the EU for implementation of international exchange programs for the current and upcoming year. The first consortium is the new ALRAKIS II program, the Armenian coordinating university of which was selected to be EIU for this year, while the European coordinating university is Georg-August University in Germany. It is worthwhile to note that Yerevan State Medical University is also among the members of the consortium. The goal and content-wise direction of the program are summarized in its name, that is “Combination of research and knowledge-based innovation systems for Eastern Partnership countries.”

Hereby, we are congratulating all those Bachelor and Master students who are aiming to study abroad but had previously had difficulties in realizing their goals because of financial limitations. We are also congratulating faculty members and co-workers of EIU with the acquisition of this new opportunity for international experience exchange. We are assured that we will promote development of students, faculty, and the academic staff, deepening of knowledge and skills, as well as enlargement of international cooperation by acquiring and executing the international experience.
